ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Bob Church, "Game Angler of the Millennium", is one of Britain's foremost and best-known anglers. As a fly fisherman, he has won competition medals at the highest level. He achieved his ambition of being a member of the England World Championship-winning team when they took gold in 1987 and 1988, having won silver in 1984 and an individual bronze medal in 1987. In 1990, Bob won European team gold and individual bronze, was made England captain for the Home Countries International (when the team won gold), and he was team manager in 1991, since when he has managed the England team in 10 further internationals. He is a regular contributor to the angling press, and has written 10 books, including the best-selling books on fly patterns, Bob Church's Guide to Trout Flies, Bob Church's Guide to New Fly Patterns, & Bob Church's Guide to the Champions' Fly Patterns.
